Most platforms hide the vehicle choice behind a category name and a picture of a car. Ours puts three options in front of you because the difference in price is large — and because the cheapest option is genuinely the wrong one about a third of the time.

The short version

When a motorcycle beats a car

In heavy traffic, a motorcycle is not slightly faster — it is a different journey. Where a car queues, a motorcycle keeps moving, which is why a fifteen-minute crossing at peak hour can take forty by car. Book one when you are alone, carrying little, and the clock matters.

It is also the right answer for an urgent parcel across a big city: documents that must be signed today, a spare part a workshop is waiting on, a phone charger left at home.

Book a car instead when it is raining, when you have luggage, when there is more than one of you, or when you would simply rather sit down.

When a bicycle is the smart choice

For deliveries inside a dense neighbourhood, a bicycle courier is frequently the fastest option in the city, not just the cheapest. No parking, no one-way systems, no waiting for a gap in traffic. Under about 8 km it is hard to beat.

It is also the option that keeps a tiffin level. A cargo bicycle carries food upright and flat; a car boot does not.

Bicycles carry no passengers, and we do not offer them for rides at all. If you book one, you are sending something, not going somewhere.

What each vehicle should not be asked to do

• Motorcycle: no suitcases, no large boxes, no second passenger, no unhelmeted rider. A driver may refuse, and they are right to.
• Bicycle: nothing heavy, nothing bulky, nothing over 8 km. Weather matters more here than with any other vehicle — check before you send something that must not get wet.
• Car: nothing on the banned list — cash, illegal goods, weapons, live animals, flammable or corrosive items. That list applies to every vehicle.

Pick the vehicle first, then look at the driver list. The list filters to match, so you only ever see drivers who can actually do the job.

How the price is built

The estimate combines a flat starting fare, a per-kilometre rate and a per-minute rate, then applies a multiplier for the service and another for the vehicle. Long rides carry a lower per-kilometre rate than short ones; parcels and tiffin lower still; and the vehicle multiplier does the rest.

All of it is an estimate. The number that counts is the one you and the driver agree in chat — the estimate exists to stop that conversation starting from nowhere.

For drivers: which to sign up with

Ride whatever you already own. A car driver can take everything on the platform. A motorcycle driver picks up the speed-sensitive work and can run tiffin routes profitably. A bicycle courier needs no driving licence at all — a government photo ID is enough — and in a dense city centre, a cargo bicycle on a repeating tiffin round is one of the steadiest incomes here.
